Catholic Burials Database

Use this link to search for or to add records of Catholic ancestors who were buried in Anglican churchyards.

Catholics were buried there at a time when there were few Catholic churchyards and before municipal cemeteries opened. This covers a period of over two hundred years. The only available burial grounds were those in Anglican churches, making finding the last resting places of ancestors difficult. As this database grows, it will be a great resource.

This example is in St Michael’s, Stone, Staffordshire.
